Horizon LED worked with a national trucking company for a full exterior LED upgrade from HPS to LED. Pictured above is one of several 100’ high mast poles each having six 1,000-watt high pressure sodium (1,100 watts with ballast) fixtures retrofitted with Horizon LED’s 300w LED retrofit kit saving 72.7% energy while more than tripling the life. The total project has energy savings of almost 74% and offered a project ROI of 54.02% with a full payback of investment time of about 1 year 10 months.

The energy savings from this project saves 136 metric tons of CO2 greenhouse gas emissions per year.
