Horizon LED Energy Solutions worked with a national apartment company to implement their decision to “Go Green” at a South End property. Replacing existing 23w fluorescent spiral lamps with Horizon LED’s 9.5wA19 LED lamps and 60w incandescent chandelier lamps with Horizon LED’s 4w LED chandelier lamps, the look and feel for tenants was improved while saving over 70% of lighting energy expense. With this facility upgrade, the LED upgrade reduced Greenhouse Gas emissions of the complex by 274 metric tons of CO2 annually.
