Horizon LED worked with the property manager to replace 1,072 existing 2-lamp T5HO fluorescent fixtures with Horizon LED’s VT40W-5000-MV LED garage lighter. The 67% annual energy savings also allows for no lighting maintenance needs for at least five years. With 751,757 kWh saved annually, 559 metric tons of CO2 greenhouse gas emissions are eliminated with enough electrical energy savings to power 92.7 average U.S. homes for a year. The total return on investment for this project is 76.57% with an investment payback period of about 15-1/2 months.
